So as days go, you've not had a good one.

Take it easy. :)

It's a bit blowy out there tonight.
Apparently we were due to get gale force 9 winds tonight but I think that forecast may have changed because our ferry has decided to make the journey to your infected land.
I hope it don't return full of walrusses

More steam McPhail

...that I made yet another small table out of a scrap off-cut from the kitchen 40mm Oak work surfaces from the "house-of-doom" job.
It is for my son (owner of said "House-Of-Doom") to accompany the larger one that I previously made for him.
It is a small table (20" x 17.5") and the legs are 16" hairpin style in 10mm steel.
I still have a slightly smaller sized piece to make (another???) table and I have also made 2 floor standing wall-attached shelves that have 28" Hairpin legs.
I just could not bear to see all that expensive oak block-board work surface going into a skip because he could not do something with it.

Jay Blades really had better bloody look out.
Only problem.
You have yet to use any of it to make lamps from.;)
Then you really would get his job. Not that you'd want it.

Big double lick. Steam driven puffers built during WW2 for victualling navy ships (hence the VIC). Used to see the VIC 56 often in the Medway and Thames estuary in my sailing days. Built for coal fuel when oil fuel was scarce.

There’s one sitting at Inveraray that’s for sale if you want one. I think it’s the vital spark from the ‘90’s series
