When my dad passed away I was the executor of the will. To flog his house we had to find his deeds.
I knew that he always used to use his house as collateral every time he took out a loan to do up his house a bit etc. Being an ex-accountant he had no qualms about borrowing money even though he was retired.
So I got onto his bank and said, "Have you still got his deeds?" They initially said "no" then had a better look and found them.
He died still owing money on a car!
Fantastic!
Hope I die that way!

Some of the rain showers today have been biblical and anyone caught in them probably wished they'd stayed indoors.
So much chillier than the past few weeks as well... so cold in fact that I may have to switch the central heating on and I don't like doing that because it costs money.
Time to raid the winter jumper draw I think. :D
