Right had a look at this lot.Wifey is prepared to spend anything to keep off the midges.
We had a look and even the most expensive ones are sold out, so we'll have another look once we get back to blighty.
But thanks again mate!
Anything that would allow us to enjoy the outdoor life a bit more over here would be brill!
Cheers
Stan

Kinda needs a before 'n' afta shot but we get the picture!
So stupid to be in a hot country where the best time to be outside is long after dark, only for Wifey to run indoors, close all doors and windows and spray sh!t smelling stuff everywhere, or we have to ensure all mossy-netted windows are OK, open one then lie there with a fan on all night!
I get bit same as every one, but mine don't itch so much and swell up in 24 hours giving me real gip. Hers do so we have to live with it.
So if these machines can really make a difference it'll be a good thing.:):):)

"go over to" thourt you lived on the Bonny banks? Or have you moved?

Tis 22miles long im just over the hill & I have my favourite spots which very few people go to.
Park rangers have painted over a lot of the signs for view points ect as people are coming in there droves making a right mess, parking on the verges rubbish everywhere.:(

Then you keep quiet about them and carry on with your paint.
Park Rangers indeed!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
Shame there is no way to booby trap the verges so their rubbish explodes all over them!:):):):):)

Checking in, long day, was tyid before I even got to wurk. Generally weary with all this covid bollix too. Honestly, if I have to hear 'Steph the bus driver' givin me the 2m, wear a mask, wash yer ands routine onna radio much more I'm goin Postal. Those of us who are lisnin are doin it ffs, s

Onna plus side, we cleared the mortgage today. So, Tratter is in the docs tomorrow to diagnose the noisy bottom. I appreciate all the good advice peeps but I'm still working 7/7 an need her runnin for w/c 21st.

@Stanleysteamer .

Ere Stan,
Has your tea gone cold?
Is you wondrin why you got out of bed at all?

Sorry, has been a tyring day an can't elp myself :D
Coat donned..
Congrats on gettin the mortgage paid off.
You are prolly feeling like "Well where are all the fireworks then? Where's the champagne? Just seems like another day."
But then slowly, like sinking into a warm bath, comes the realisation that you have more dosh per month and no one can take your place off you!
Try and find the time to appreciate the millstone dropping off from around your neck and spend a bit of the extra dosh for treats for yourself and all around you!
My old man travelled 60 miles to see me and the ex with a bottle of bubbly the day his ended!
It is even more betterer if you have had to do it all twice thanks to divorce and stuff!
Cheers, mate! I drink your health in cold tea, or in fact in warm coffee!!!
:):):):):):):):):):D:D:D:D:D

Morning All :D
Very still here and quite cool (C/H has come on to warm the house up).;)
Cat had left me a present in the middle of the kitchen floor. :(
First Coffee is waking me up a treat.:)
I offered a local bike-riding charity one of the Recumbent e-bikes I inherited from my late friend; they have bitten my arm off and want to get it from me ASAP.:D
It is worth about £2k, so I am not so surprised. Good Luck to them, it would tickle my mate pink to know it was going to be used to help people get back into riding.
Gym later I think, and prep for some house maintenance.
Have a great day everybody :D

Afternoon all...
What a miserable day tis honking down, I was chopping hedges yesterday & loads of laurel on the
public foot bridge up from my house the council seam to be doing less an less round here.
Jumping on my trailer squashing it down load after load I got a bit carried"AWAY" I was going to leave
it until today to load it up. Im glad I done it last night so I can drink tea & put coal on the fire.
Ahhhh superb :D:D
