Were you watching me  Not only that I found it lying next to the 17mm I lost earlier o_O

12mm vanished after rebuilding the front brake on me Motybike last week.
Tried all the usual, including the "exit the garage, walk back in wif eyes closed an just let your gaze fall on a random spot when you open em again.." Nuffink..
Turned up on Satdi sitting next to the DOT4, prolly gossiping about the compressor.
I fink it sneaked out for a nice cream.:)

Morning All :D
A day off from the building site today :)
I may take the opportunity to hang my new side-gate to confound the foxes. :)
I have done all my "start the day" chores and have a big mug of coffee to slurp.
The grand-kids are up and so the screaming and whining has started already (and that's just me), wait 'til they get started! ;)
You all have a good day :D

A mate of mine once found a spanner I had lent him , a few weeks later, by looking up under the front wing of his Cobra. it was still attached to a bolt on his front suspension! He'd driven quite a few miles with it attached. I lent him it a the Stoneleigh show, mind you I lent quite a few spanners that weekend and seemed to have come home one up! Made a good laugh when I wrote it all up in the club newsletter in the style of Poirot, "The mystery of the missing spanner".

I've found a few items in or on cars that machanics have been working on. On was a 4" bolster, brand new, a welder had been using, under the bonnet of a Renault 17. Which was a great car, miss it as much as I miss my 1900 Opel Manta A series. Why do we scrap good cars? Cos we ain't got the room to store them until we have time to do em up!

nah it was a bit from the steering relay on my 2A, theres a lot of force in the wee spring ;)
Having a drive covered in big gravel is a pain. Once lost the socket for the enti theft nuts on my D1. Even sieved through a ton of gravel. Couldn't find it forced to buy a new one. A coupla years later, I caught it just staring at me from a bit of the drive. Weathered a bit but now i have two!
