Lovely .… but what's 'appening??o_O
It’s a roof inspection. It’s leaking & a report needs doing. Some parts can’t be reached so a drone was used.

It ain't often me and the Defenderer get on but HELLO. The ARB bushes and drop links all replaced with new fixings. After a wrestling match in burning sunshine I got the old bumps stops out, I say bumps stops, I obviously mean the metal plates that were remaining after the rubbers fell orft, so they're done.

The oil sump plug which was stuck in eventually fell to a Youtube hack - ordered a 29mm spanner and used a bottle jack to apply the leverage and hey presto it came undone without any rounding or damage - so i is well chuffed with todays efforts.

Danny's shed of doom.......Update Saturday 13th of June 2020:

OK, its all done. I finished giving the entire floor 2 coats of varnish, finished all of the current shelving and their supports, mounted 4 LED lighting strips and carried a huge battery down there and wired it up.
Then I put some of the tools in there (and the scaffold-tower and the 4-stroke petrol, generator) and closed up for the day (my back was complaining like Billy-Oh!)

Next week I shall begin sorting through my workshop for all non-essential day to day tools and relocating them to the shed.
I am very pleased with how it has all turned out.

Gunfight at the "Crow-K Corral"....

We were alerted to a huge shindig of a fight down at the bottom of the garden where the crows have a nest in the oak tree that overhangs my new shed.
I was on my way down there to lock up and as I did so there was a large "thud" on the roof and lots more crow-cussing.
I didn't think much of it and locked up and went back indoors but the kerfuffle continued.
My wife and I walked back down there and one crow was chasing off another crow in an aerial dogfight.
All around the path at the doorway of the shed were black feathers and down the sloped "rain-drip" side was a dead juvenile crow on the ground.
I picked it up to see if it was just stunned or truly "gone". Its little chest had been pecked open and it was truly dead. Still with its little bum-fluff feathers among the proper adult ones.
Sad to see, but that is nature in the raw.
There always were 3-Crows, a mating pair and a male interloper. I reckon that's why they call it "A murder of Crows".

Just gave the hanging baskets and pots a weekly feed. Last job ont defenderer were to torque up all the new fixings whilst she's sat on her wheels, ansom. Then I swept up all the rust and stuff that fell orft during maint which means its about a dustpan lighter again.

Birra advice needed pals. The drag link on my fender if grabbed can be moved i.e. if you rotate it forward it moves about 20mm and if you rotate it backwards it also moves the same and I'm not sure it this is normal - bit hard to search for an answer online? The play is with the rubber part of the drop link, should this all be tight?

+1 on tube rolling on the joint. As long as no side to side or up & down all is good.

are you looking for jobs to do in Sunday

Got the oil change to do tomorrow. Then I have the tappets and rocker gasket to address before bushing the rear trailing arms. Once that's done I have the radiator, hoses coolant change, water pump and cam belt to do. Then I'll tackle the steering box leak and the bushes on the front radius arms ;)
