I put a link to a complete How To in my last post.Right so now I've got this kit from MuddyMods-(front and back)-so is it pretty easy to fit? Any tips when doing it to make life a bit easier? Front first or back? Any special tools needed?
Any info/tips gratefully accepted.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to squeeze them in without completely removing the struts. If it can be done and the nuts securing the struts to the kits can be tightened properly it would certainly make life easier. When I did it I took the struts out completely, fitted the kits and refitted the struts.Did you get the 40mm or 50mm kit. 40mm is just a case of freeing the struts enough to squeeze the kit onto place and bolt up. The 50mm kit is more challenging as chassis modification is needed for the front. Rear will need the same work for 40mm or 50mm.
You can easily get more with height bigger tyres. A mate has a Freelander that isn't lifted at all but is almost as high as mine. He has MT tyres that his tyre shop didn't think would fit but they are fine.Hope you post lots of pictures of your progress: while the 50mm lift is probably too extreme for me to consider, the 40mm might be "just right"
Big tyres AND a lift perhaps?
Colin says they are horribly noisy on the road but are good off road and give a good lift. Sorry I don't know what size they are. Mine are Kumho AT and are fine for normal road use and pretty good off road. My tyres are a little oversized but not as big as his. No idea how they effect fuel as I don't keep track but the speedo is now perfectly accurate so they must make a small difference. They look huge, what size tyres are those? Do the big tyres affect the performance much? e.g. acceleration, speedo accuracy, gearing / climbing ability, fuel cost - won't you potentially use more fuel? Will the still fit on the spare carrier? Reduced suspension articulation?
Is that for a soft top or a rain cover like this one.You can get brand new ones for about £200 complete with all the fixings. Seem to go for about £100 second hand but hardly ever come up for sale now. I'd be interested if you're thinking of selling.
