Hi all,
what a great first post I'm still kicking myself
I just bought my first RR (2001 vogue V8)

This morning I broke my own rule of never taking drinks into my car and as a result pored the best part of a large sugary Starbucks filter coffee all over my center console and into the Hevac.

I can't think why, but now the LCD display has stopped displaying anything :censored::censored:
although everything seems to be working OK
Will this just need time to dry or does it need taking out and cleaning??


Anyone have any advice ?

wat a plonka. you be lucky if it drys out and works again.{fingas crossed] if not then have to be new one and they aint cheap.

Caffinated would have been best. It mighta kept the hevac awake.

Nah just the normal stuff

Just happy it wasn't full of cream ...

just to conclude this mess it turns out my HEVAC cleared up and its all working now
Quite lucky really

yep well sweet, suggest you keep ya drinks out of the range or use bottles with lids. if only everybody has some luck like you.
