Right guys I am no tech but just passing this on....

My mate couldn't get his 19J through MOT - 3 goes and it failed each time on emissions. Also very smokey.

he didnt want to spend much as just uses it as an old workhorse.

somebody told him to stick in a Hydrogen kit.

This involved £20 in parts and a days fiddling.

He took it to MOT and the emissions were approx 180% lower.

I was down at his shed this morning and he showed me it.

Small abs container fitted on bracket to bulkhead - wired to battery/ignition - some stainless plates connected together inside container - pipe to exhaust (not sure where) fitted with non return valve. When ignition switched on slowly starts to bubble then bubbling increases. producing hydrogen gas that supposedly creates cleaner burn.

Non return valve fitted as safety measure.

Now, I know talk about this has been about for ages regards fuel saving etc and there is split opinion. Some say myth - some say fact.

Ive met a few in the past who have been running them and swear blind fuel saving is a significant fact.

I'm not trying to say anything about fuel - all I want to share is that he couldnt get past emissions so tried this as had nothing to loose and it passed with flying colours.

Dont know the tech around it - mates lot more knowledgeable than myself.

Just thought might be of interest to somebody.

Are you taking the ****?

Provide one scrap of scientific evidence or logical reasoning as to why this would work.

My guess is that it would be extremely dangerous, and I suggest to one and all, do not p!ss about with hydrogen gas unless you know all about it, it is highly explosive!

same here, i added one and the emissions tool displayed a minus symbol.

he got very excited and now i am to present my device to the g8 as a new way to reverse the damage done to the planet.

i'm planning on selling them at 5,999,999.99 each.. i just hope the ebay guy can supply the demand and will still sell to me for 20quid.

Ok so must assume the solution in the container is water , if you seperate the hydrogen off for two molecule of hydrogen you get one molecules of oxygen which will not be able to stay in the water so then we have H2O being drawn into the engine add a bit fairy liquid bound to get cleaner emmisions.

Say what you will. I was only passing it on. It worked. And sorry meant 18.0%.

Besides, weren't these kits (diy and company made) all over ebay and net few years back? I remember seeing tons of people selling them both homemade glass jar jobs and expensive branded dry cell versions?

And I have read many opinions on the whole idea (regards people talking about fuel consumption etc) which is why wanted to make it clear I wasnt opening up debate on it.

But FACT is he couldnt get the thing through, he was advised to stick a hydrogen kit in. The vehicle passed. Mot didnt pull him regards kit being installed. The non return valve apparently prevents any gas building up. Yes the container was just filled with water.

He showed me it operating.

I've met a few guys in past running them.

Know feck all else about the things.

Was just sharing that he did it - and it passed emissions.

My mate made one and it does work but uses a lot of battery power so any gains in hp/fuel economy prob eaten up by more load on alternator.
I can see why it would reduce emissions though

lets not... just work it out.

how much air does this engine use and how much hho would you need to produce to have an effect on it. even a little 5% mix.

then how much power would you need to generate the 5%.

People sell all kinds of ****e that doesn't work! As PT Barnum once said,"there is one born every minute!". ;)

Some people believe that if you strap a magnet to your fuel line you will be able to run old engines on unleaded fuel. I have changed a couple of heads for such people after their valve seats were eaten :D

If you demagnetise the magnetic field surrounding the toilet seat it reverses flow and you fill up!

Try it yourself or I can supply a kit for £20. You simply insert the plug into any 240v or 3 phase (if your lucky enough to have it) socket and use the supplied adhesive tape to secure to the toilet seat the other 2 ends.

The electrodes must be in the correct location as to touch a cheek each.

Now enjoy the freedom knowing that you are saving the planet.

NOTE :- WARNING THIS MUST BE A SEPERATE CHEEK AND NOT THE SAME CHEEK OTHERWISE BAD THING HAPPEN AND DAMAGE TO THE KIT MAY OCCUR. THIS IS EXCLUDED UNDER OUR CAST IRON WARRANTY. AN ALLOY WARRANTY IS AVAILABLE TO COVER THIS FOR AN ADDITIONAL £5. WE RECOMMENDED THIS.
