Had a stiff frost last night . . . does anyone have any advice for us peeps how to start our diesels in the cold ?

we have had 8" snow and been down to 18F just turn key let glow plugs do there job, then throttle to floor and start simple:D
been down to minus30F and just put battery booster on for 1/2 hr and starts every time first time for the day then no problem rest of day

Come on Tex:D it dosen't get cold there does it???? Go north 1200 miles, 10-12 ft of snow a winter:D:D

Hell, I'm on the gulf, its not suppose to.

It got down to around 32 here one morning.

Damn disco acted like it didn't want to start then knocked for a minute or two.
