Seized diff = undriveable = lower price? As for the grille, it's a nuts and bolt vehicle, I'm sure you could make the LR item fit.

I think so too, it's just my dad needs to go get it, i dont got me permit yet. Also, to get it on the trailer, i assume i will have to remove halfshafts, disconnect prop shaft, stick it in diff lock, and drive it on, no?
My dad has allways dreamed of owning a 110, diesel, 5 door. This is just a step down, but with a very similar top speed due to that engine and gearbox. Once i get that front grille changed, i'm sure it will look the part.

not as much as if it were a land rover , the santanas were never really popular and seen as a poor mans land rover.

It would have to be cheap like the budgie your take a fair risk on it.

Aye, so i just spoke to the bloke, he's not selling it for 2000. He's selling it for 1000, because i'm actually buying 2 landys. One is for spares, the other is fully funtional, and what's better, is that the wheels and tyres on it are new. Exelent nick, i'm told. No rust on the chassis, No rust on the body exept for a door, what the ad said was a seized diff was actually a broken half shaft, this looks good actually

It should be possible to fit a 110 front on without too much trouble.

Well, fk everything. I got my dad convinced, i got myself convinced, my dad was ready to do the journey, we almost even booked a trailer to go get it. THEN me mother steps in. Then everything falls off a very large cliff. That's the second GOOD deal i've missed in a week. Couldn't be better right now.
