hahahahaha. Snap did the same my self on tuesday. I think they just get brittle with age. I'll be putting a bit of vaseline or similar on mine before I shove it in. On the plus side once you get past 30mph the wind/slipstream just sprays it straight back on to the windscreen anyway :D :D

might be a bit of a problem getting it upto 30mph in the mot test bay tho:)

thats why i need to get it on, bloody MOT man. :(
anyone else got any ideas?
also how much do u reckon brookwells are gonna rip me off for?

Not quite sure wot ur trying to do but if its wot I think ur trying to do, soften the pipe with hot/boiling water. Alternatively u could ask the missus how her mother is n hold the pipe in front of her like a microphone..........

The new bit should be much more flexible and therefor a spot of vaseline and a twisting motion will get it on no problem.

alternatively you go down the path of the pug 405's and have a length of tubing attached to the wiper arm and plumb that to the washer pump and drill small holes in the pipe where it clips to the wipers. I think Trewy has a thread on here somewhere.

I did exactly the same thing and seeing as I still have warranty and the weather was bad as far as I was concerned it was off the road so I called Land Rover assistance to deal with it, I thought this'll take two minutes, he'll warm it up or summat, must do loads of em, couldn't believe it when he said I'll have to take the dash out and replace the lot?????? I thought maybe it's not meant to come off but it must do if you can buy it seperately?

I put front and rear plastic washer thing on mine a while back after breaking them, the new ones came with the two bits together so I had to unscrew the retaining nut behind the dash and change out the whole thing, I managed to get it by pulling out the ashtray and it is just under there
