Hi all

picked up my disco landmark at the weekend, 04 plate, im taking my handfree kit out of my old motor and would like to fit it in the disco but there seems to be a few choices as to what lead i need depending on what sound system is fitted? there's no obvious branding anywhere, speaker grills, head unit etc, there's a cd changer under the seat but i can't see much if anything on that. is there an easy way to find out or is it head unit out job?

Your ICE kit is unique as it was only installed in the Landmark in 2004.
So when it left the factory Land Rover fitted as standard an 11 speaker hi-line system, with CD auto changer and rear controls.

The top of the range ES had the Harman Kardon audio system in addition to the hi-line ICE, plus the Sat Nav.
The Pursuit just had the single slot CD head unit and 6 speakers.

It’s not a small job by any means but you can then fit any double din/touch screen head unit in and have the modern luxuries too.

sounds a lot like i may struggle to get an adapter then?
I shouldn’t think so, there’s an adapter to interface most phone kits, even to a disco’s ICE kit from the 2000 model year onwards and till it became a standard fitment as it is now.
Yo know the head unit, your car kit and your vehicle year 2004 which is all u need for an on line search.. the wonders of the WWW :)
