Don't have hi temp version, and what I have is over 10 years old, I'm sure that will do....I also plan to use an old coat hanger to make a new set of piston rings....will post details of the mod later - apparently a geezer on another forum says it will make my MPG go through the roof and I should remove my magnets from the fuel line before I do the mod else the fuel will flow back to the tank causing an air lock in the coolant system.....but I am sure if it cut the large pipe at the top of the radiator, the air can escape eliminating the airlock completely, a good neighbour told me that one!
:hysterically_laughi

While you've got the enjin apart fit piston return springs. that should get those puppies moving, the revs will mega high. Also rad the kiddies sand pit and with the airbox removed and the engine screaming to the rev limiter poor the sand down the inlet. About 10 kilos should do a V8 nicely. She'll have a mega porting job done!!!! You won't be able to stop the wheels from spinning. Best drop all the axle oils and replace with Lard. Saps a lot less horsepower.

WOW, that is brill Doz, some great tips there...

Query, I can only get Sharp sand will this do or does it have to be sandpit sand??

As for the Lard, I'll pop to Sainsbury later, in the event they have run out, would you prefer me to use I can't believe its not butter or would a generic brand do??

Ten year old stuff should be fine, just add some blasting grit to it to auto hone the cylinder bore though. As you will know coat hanger piston rings need at least an 1/8" 3.2 mm gap to aid oil flow to the valves. Engine may smoke a little but disregard that. Be careful with cooling system mod, no bigger that 3/8" hole in top hose. Seal with blue tack after air is purged. Good luck. :D:D

Sharp sand will require mixing with dog turds before use. Try finding some of the old white dry craps left over from the summer. Cats love dried dog shart rammed through em.

I'd never use a generic brand on a car as Special as a Range Rover. what are ya some kind of cheap skate? Use Olive oil instead. You can also add wood shavings which will make your diffs into LSD's (reading this ****e I think I may have had to much LSD as a student) Also change your ATF for ready mix for that race lock up autobox

Christ. I come back on LZ after a year and you lot are finally talking sense.

Don't forget to invert your air springs for winter, stops them freezing up.

Surely if they are inverted they will freeze down not up?
