I used to be on here quite a bit when I had my old P38 and it was needed with the number of times things went wrong with it.

I got rid of it and got a Hyundai Tucson around two and half years ago and joined that forum but there was never much going on.

I have just changed car a couple of weeks ago to a Lexus RX450h and joined the Lexus Owners forum .. a few posts seem to crop up regarding upgrading Sat Nav, tyres etc but nowhere near the number of posts on here.
I hope I dont have to get much info on there but get boring at times.

Keep up the good work all, especially those that pass on great tips to other users.

I suppose it it is also time I put up for sale a few tools I had for the Rangie and the lower tailgate that has been stored in spare bedroom that I had started sanding to get it ready to respray and fit. :rolleyes:

Try the Jag forum, if you want to discuss various waxes and polishes. They couldn't solve a mechanical problem if it bit them on the arse.:D

We had a new member from the Newcastle area recently who might need them!
 
If he does and sees this or someone points him here I have the EAS Kicker, the lower tailgate with all lights, just missing the lock button.
Also have the tools and gauge to check and set the diesel pump timing.
Also a set of 5 of the 6 injectors, and will have to look around as there might be one or two other things.

If its Newcastle area could deliver them.

Now you tell us, I've just bought said tools , having my injectors checked tomorrow so pm me please.
 
That's right, get him to fall into the trap. Buy all his spares and all his tools and as soon as they are gone , that is the very moment a beautiful P38 will appear, flashing her headlights at him, enticing him to come closer, just for a look of course. She will coyly remind him how he loves the P38 and how only she can make him feel the way a P38 does, etc, etc.
Next thing you know, he'll be back asking if anyone knows where he can get a spare xyz, or has anyone got diagnostics. Followed by a thread full of 'tasteful' photos of her. :D:D:D:D

I've never spent so much on my red 38 as I have in the last week. Hopefully pick up the cylinder head tomorrow and rebuild it over the weekend.I am supposed to be taking it easy but its got to be done.The Boss said the two 38's have to go if I get the 322, I said we have room for loads more. Fell on deaf ears,
 
Haha .. I am hoping the Lexus proves to be as reliable as they seem to be.

Quite a bit different from the Rangie .. Will be interesting if we get any snow and ice to see how it copes .. the rear wheels are powered by the electric motor rather than the petrol engine.

Ooooo hard choice. I love my L322 but not sure if, had I had two P38s before I got her, would I have swapped.

Should be interesting, may it be all you wish :) Back to your original sentiment, some sites are seriously boring. I recently went on a mission to fullfatrr to rescue one of our own.I knew it was dangerous and that anything could happen but I couldn't bear to see him languish in the lack of humour. ;)

Thats what makes a great forum .. that sence of humour as well as good advice and being able to help each other out if we can.
When I was on here withthe P38 I needed the help of diagnostics and a member close to me popped round and helped out.

As for humour, I am also a member of a camping forum ... (that is camping as in tents and caravans NOT camping as in a Gaylander owner :) ) .. and there are some real characters on there that can have a laugh at themselves as well as others... quite a few posts either start out as funny or end up that way when one or two get involved.

A great forum need a good mixture of both serious help and humour and this forum has it.
