If you know of any one on looking for a camper with "History" then point
them in my direction.

I will no doubt be titivating him prior to placing him in the back of one of
the rags but if someone wants a little work to finish him then I could
reflect that in the price. Though given the work that's already gone in to
him he's no longer a project so won't be a "project" price.

Little work at the mo prior to camping means;
Plumb in gas to cooker and hob & add vents as appropriate
Add pipes for sink drain - provided
Plumb in water pump for sink - provided
Finish internal paintwork
Complete internal decor
Add curtains
Book camping pitch

He's currently set up as a 2 berth sleeping but will transport 4/6 depending
on how the seats are configured 4 seatbelted or 2 seatbelted and 4 side
facing. Could easily be made in to a 4 Berth though with existing space and
a little time / fabrication.

Tim sold his, then youre going next. That should put me next by
rights!
I have however vowed that the house will go before the 101!

Yeah, I'll be sad to see him go but I'm just not using him and It's criminal
that he's just sat there when someone else could be having heaps of fun in
him.

I'll be happy with just occasional use on mine. I only use the 2A
properly for perhaps one weekend/month now (and its usually tip runs!)
but that justifys it enough for me as i enjoy it when im driving it!.

wouldnt percy be higher in the list to go than morph?

As would the Laguna and the Tractor however modern life has it's price. I
have a camper and a caravan, thats just greedy. The arrival of another pup
has also made 101 cruising a little more less appealing on the long haul
with 4 occupants and 2 dogs, one large one medium sized.

The IIa is tax exempt and a non runner at the mo, I'd not get anywhere near
the value of what I've put in to the IIa as he sits.

Morph on the other hand is an appreciating vehicle, so a good investment for
someone else. Much as I'd like to keep him I have other plans for the
drivespace. Rebuilding Percy is still on my list of things to do, While I'm
tinkering with Morph I'm not going to get Percy done.

you dont want to buy a 101. Nobody could enjoy burbling about in that
horrible sounding v8.
And why would you want to buy one that had already had all the hard
camper conversion work done on it?

Wanting to join the elite group of 101 owners is silly..

did i do that right? :)

well, up to a point, it's on a date to suit. School holiday time probably
preferable, I see that round here at least we have spring HT from 12th to
16th Feb, and term finishes for easter on Friday 30th March, summer term
starts 16th April.

ideally, we'll want a list of "avoid" dates, if people have any.

Hmmmmm. Maybe time to stick my head over the parapet ;)

Later is better than earlyany date before May is likely to cause too
much damage to the ground.

Beyond that we'd better pray it doesn't rain after of last weekends
tales of i derring do and inability to drive on wet grass ;)
