will it be ok to use tie raps instead of hog rings on the seats, i have/am swapping leathers over so just wondered.

its a nightmare of a job!!!

Is a hog ring another word for a black pudding!! :hysterically_laughi
I know tie wraps are strong, but they have more "Give" in them than the steel hog rings, plus-the weak point on the tie wrap is the fastener. That said Gav. if the local Butcher is out of hog rings, then improvisation is the only way.

i had the old hog rings but they are a **** idea and the seat elephants always go so i will be back in there at some point!!!

in anycase its done now and time will tell!!! lol!!

the only people i know who use large tie wraps are police, and i just dont fecking trust them!!
