Other than the usual BURN IT I'd sugest a search, or you could try a search, a search might help, search is good, try a search, or burn it.:welcome2:

drivers door locking is caused by a faulty solenoid within the lock assembly. Easiest is to buy a new lock assembly, budget for £75 from a dealer, or £35 on ebay.

Will take about an hour to do yourself if your not familiar with the process, bit fiddly but easily doable.

good luck.

hi my wife had the lock problem and I discovered it was the rod that came through the door card it was catching I put a very small amount of grease on and it has not done it since hope this helps

Have you had a go at re-calibrating the rear window.Just do a search and there are plenty of threads on how to.

Hi! I`m new owner of freelander 2.0 td4, 2001. as well as new user of this site :) Have a problem with high fuel consumption of 11 to 14l per 100km! When this problem appired I was looking for an answer and read on a site that I can turn off the fuel flow meter, which will reduce consumption. Is it true? If anyone knows, please HELP!!! P.S. Sorry for my not so well English, but I hope we`ll understand! :)
