My thoughts exactlyGet them to put it through an MOT at a different place. Then i If the car looks & drives ok, at least get AA inspection. Full inspection of £191 on a £24,000 is probably worthwhile.
Me too. Would not buy that one or anything that expensive, but instead finish my project P38, and get both P38's fully sorted on all the minor scratches & niggles. Maybe a holiday or two as well.I wish i had a spare £24k to spend on a car

+ 1 ^^^^^^ £24K for a whole lot of potential wallet emptying problemsMe too. Would not buy that one or anything that expensive, but instead finish my project P38, and get both P38's fully sorted on all the minor scratches & niggles. Maybe a holiday or two as well.
Ask them why it's got nearly 25k less miles on it's current MOT , passed on March 18 2021 ,than the fail on the 13 March 2021. dodgy or what. 24,928 miles to be exact. My thoughts exactly
If it's the same car that you posted the link for why is that number YT63XKV which doesn't come up on the DVLA website? Makes you wonder what they have to hide. The plate for the one I’m going to view is GL13YFG. Just had a look at MOT history and it failed one last year and then passed with a few advisories so I'll be asking about those in more detail

Ah right.something suspicious about it.the second reg was a comparison that @biketeacherdave put up although that was a 3.0 v6.
but if what you say about mileage change on the reg op posted yes some serious questions needed

I certainly do buddy. LOLDoesn't @Enthusiastman drive a L405? He might have some pointers
As an L405 owner and enthusiast of this model i can offer you as much advice for FREE as you can take buddy.Hi all,
Test driving a L405 4.4 autobiography at the weekend. It’s a 2013 with 136k on it. Asking price of £24k. Considering this was over £100k new seems like a nice deal. Anything I should be aware of? Is this a terrible idea? I’m happy with running and maintenance costs. Supposedly has a full service history but I will find out for sure at the weekend.
It might also be for sale Alan as i have been offered my dream Rolls Royce last week so my stunning and mint L405 might be up for grabs pal.Believe his is a proper 4.4TDV8.
We all sell GOOD cars mate at some point. All my cars i have loved and owned and sold on have all bee MINTERS and nearly all of them are still with the chaps i sold them too many years ago. My Granada for example i sold 24 years ago and the chap still owns it and its still MINT.I'd ask where they got it from. I bet it was the auctions. Ask what inspection they did or who looked over it. These cars are not understood by a lot of garages unless they're specialized or dealers. Get an extended warranty and if they won't offer one look elsewhere.
As beautiful as it is I wouldn't own one and I fix cars all day long. As said you don't sell a good car.
I'll take it in part exchange if you want to buy our house in the Canaries. It might also be for sale Alan as i have been offered my dream Rolls Royce last week so my stunning and mint L405 might be up for grabs pal.
