:) Having only recently joined the Land Rover Owners fold I thought it was time that I joined a forum of similar minded people.
Whilst working overseas my wife sold my car and replaced it with a Defender90 200tdi. So imagine my surprise when I returned home!
Since then many hours of skinned knuckles, the odd belt of electricity and much swearing have ensued.
I love the Landie but it is driving me mad at the minute.
Anyway Hello to everyone.

Hello Mac2336, hope you enjoy Landyzone as much as I do. I know what you mean but its worth it mate.

Regards WP.

That was a quick response!

Know anything about Defender Electrics? I have a small snag with the battery charge light, the full details of which are in the Defender forum section....if your bored and fancy having a look I would appreciate any help.

 No sorry old bean, I'm still in the dark ages running on cart springs in a Landy that was built when the earth was still flat (1959 Series 2). Sorry I cant really offer much help other than an alternator fault. I'm not very good with the wonders of Elastictrickery.
Good luck though.

Regards WP.

Welcome to the forum Mac,

Sounds like you got yourself a pretty cool wife, with a good taste in Landies! Can't help you with any Defender stuff but one of the Lads or Lasses should be able to point you in the right direction!!

Blood, sweat and tears! Thats what its all about! (any other car and it would be straight down the scrapper!)
