I am new to the forum, well sorta...ive been here before...i live in north norfolk and have a disco 300tdi..i love it but does have niggles..yes..my disco brakes keep binding on after a new master cylinder, and front right caliper have been fitted..i have to release the pressure on the system by undoing a bleed nipple or pipe every 5-10 mins..it drives fine then binds again so badly..im gonna try and bleed it using the sequence in the haynes manual out in the snow...does anyone know why the pressure keeps increasing is it a faulty servo or maybe the new master cylinder...matt

Is it always the same 'corner'? If so then I suggest replacing the flexible brake hose as well.

hi there andyb66,ive just changed the "new" master cylinder as i found it was leaking from the back where it joins the servo from the plunger..a small leak but enough to cost me two days off work and £89.
i bled the system and it seems fine with the old master cylinder fitted.
Really need the old gal as shes been a god send since the bad weather..cheers
