I'm fairly new to the forum so thought i'd finally say hello to you all.
I'm finally the proud owner of a Landrover, I've just aquired a 1999 Disco 2 TD5 Auto, not got much planned for the old girl yet just going to run her for a bit to iron out any issues that pop up.

Definite planned jobs for the time being are are full oil and filter change, auto box oil and filter change, egr removal, decat pipe and swapping out the torque converter to the modified one from Ashcroft's.

I'll probably set up a thread in due course but just thought i'd say hello to you nice chaps.

Nice & shiny, but please check the rear chassis rails: LR sorted out the D1 rusty boot floor issue, but kind of neglected to make sure the rear chassis was rustproofed properly on the D2

It is a very good looking and clean truck, snatched the gentlemans hands off when I got there.

I checked the rear chassis rails when I got there as I knew it was a common rot point, but they are sound, the whole body is to be honest.
