I'm sure someone already said it, but no harm saying it again " this is the introduction section". In here peoole say hi and tell us about them and their vehicle. Then there are the model specific sections. Yours would be Range Rover. In those sections people post about the latest problem with their LR, and ask nicely for help. There is more chance of someone who can help , being in the dedicated section.

Oil & filter change will help, if not cure it. Dipstick won’t be needed really - if it gets done then serviced from then on it shouldn’t need checking.
Message on dash should go with the problem I think.
