Hi everyone,
Hope someone can help, about 2 weeks ago I got an 05 freelander td4 facelift, my first issue was getting engine check on as soon I get close to 2500rpm and drops performance, these are the parts I changed so far, LP fuel pump, Fuel filter, MAF sensor, also changed the sensor on the air intake, changed turbo solenoid, all 3 vacuum pipes that attach to the solenoid, also changed hoses from turbo to intercooler, crankcase filter, oil filter and oil change, now the car drives fine when engine is still cold then as soon you drive 4 to 5 km I get a complete sudden power reduction where engine goes back to idle and nothing happens when I press the acceleration pedal engine does not rev, sometimes when it happens i keep the pedal floored while parked on the side of the road then all of a sudden I get throttle response, sometimes even turning off the car and start again fix the issue but only for a moment then it starts again, I also cleaned the egr, all the connectors from injectors, camshaft sensor, high pressure fuel sensor, before the problem starts the engine sounds and feels good but just before the problems pops up gain I can notice the engine starts to become a bit rough with some misfires at around 2000 and 2200rpm.
The only other things I can think off that could cause something like this are the HP FUEL PUMP, injectors or wire harness, faulty camshaft sensor, clogged fuel rail, faulty high pressure fuel sensor or could also be bad or clogged turbo.
Hope someone has a solution or some tips cause I ran out of ideas and this fix is starting to become expensive. I did have it plugged to a computer and the only fault that came up was related to the sensor that is attached on the air intake I got a new replacement but still was getting same fault

Try the big top heading that says FORUMS, then look for the one with the word Freelander in it?;)
