I did Devils Pit last February, I won't be going back. I escaped with no damage but you need a good heavy duty steering guard or you will bend your steering. I didn't think much of it and there were too many people there who just didn't care about those with their everyday drivers, I saw at least 3 motors get trashed. You have been warned!

I second what kev says most people that say how good it is and love the pit have either destroyed their vehicle or have sold it and brought bother one to destroy / abuse yes its fun but Whaddon is much better value for money and a better crowd imo (not to say this doesn't happen at Whaddon as it clearly does from our previous jaunts there are some right idiots but you can escape from them to another part of the huge site for saftey reasons if nothing else.) Anyone know of any punch events on around here in the next couple of months?? Needs to be non competitive i.e no rollcage requirements. Seem to remember a group around here avin one soon but can't remember who Jai

Its in between a pay and play and a trial. Its a whole area with punches placed in obscure places each worth points. the hardest to reach are worth more points. You have a card mounted to the dashboard and you have to drive to within a meter or until the punch can stamp your card. Now days they use coloured marker pens and numbers and a marshall to sign off each one. highest score wins at the end of play. Jai

You have a pre determined time to atart and finnish but do you go for the easy ones first or the hardest ones, its quite a tactical event. On the extreme ones its likely you can damage your vehicle on the highest points punches so its even more important how to play it. Jai
