Any body know who is the local organisers for safari comp? I have got a 250acre site they might be interested in.

still putting the 80 together! If i suss out the length of one of my my oil return pipes and get pirtek on the case then it may be running soon.

Sounds like you are in the same boat as me, you got any pics of your landy? How far off the road is yours?

I bought what I thought would be a quick fixer upper, it then turned into a total strip down and having neatly stacked piles of metal in my garage.

I have pretty much finished welding the chassis, replacing door pillars and foot wells. Just need to paint chassis and bulkhead, drop the engine back in, replace bearings and brake lines, paint and refit body and get a ticket on it. "hoping" to have it done by Christmas. :D

I am looking to come along to the next pub meet as I am starting to feel like owning a land rover rather than owning piles of scrap. I would also be interested in tagging along as passenger on a laning session in a few weeks if that was possible?
