Leonberger aka Roland and his partner Beth are the nicest most polite friendly and chilled people i believe I have and will ever meet in my life. Genuinly 2 good hearted people I believe they are enjoying doig some long distance travelling in their LR now days and loving it.
Last time I called Roland... about a year ago methinks.. he was working his ass off!

Back home now, we did Therfield Reed Barley Barkway Chishill and Gt+Lt Chrishall... Some nice scenery around there... Tomorrow shouldn't take nearly as long so we will have plenty of time to get to Melbourn and Ashwell as well (none of us could read a map properly today :D:D) ... oh yeah and there was a little incident resulting in a bent farm jack... ask jcuk

jcuk took some pics on his phone so you will see then.. basically his 109 had got caught on the rear n/s corner and his wheel was held off the ground so we jacked it up pushed it across and it hit his spare wheel carrier as it fell :doh:

Diesel here is the map jcuk was on about.. hertsdirect.org Web version of the Definitive Map
Here is the one for cambs.. My Cambridgeshire

I have booked time off work for wales. If anyone is going early, I am probably going to leave on Monday 25th and go to a relative in Pembrokeshire. I might spend those couple of days doing photography or might go laning if anyone is going early too.. I'm likely to leave on weds 4th may so the same applies for afterwards.

Looking forward to tomorrow. the lanes are non damaging despite what jcuk managed to do today :D He took completely the wrong line by mistake so if you are scared or in doubt at all just ask people to spot for you

Here's the photos form the little "incident" today. As Jack said I managed to catch the n/s rear wing and suffered a mild bout of failing to proceed. I'd been through this tight left turn with a dip through a stream last year with Rider and Spiderman and managed to bash the o/s front wing so this time I though I'd try to cut the corner. I hugely misjuged how much I'd cut the corner this time and got the rear badly caught. To to make things worse, I still managed to put another dent in the o/s front wing too

Well and truly stuck...

Top of the jack is stuck in the spare carrier causing bending in Diesel's brand new (24hrs old) jack:doh:

...still, good day out though.

thats good cos after last time i doubt anybody can be """" to rescue benjyps disco again :D

I make no comment about that.. :D:D He may get stuck but there are no 20ft drops down to the side this time, so it should be a simple tow out :p:p

Whens this Wales trip!? I aint going abroad now and more than happy to guide people thru some proper lanes south shropshire and north Wales... My local jaunts... Some where a 110 will get stuck cause of length but again... Simple tow out!! :)

Hi guys, thanks for another good day out laning, was good fun despite the little incident with JCUK at the ford, feel really bad as I was too busy taking pics to see what was about to happen. When I got home I found that I'd bent one of my side steps on that tight bit of lane (I thought it was a bit hairy, but I am a newbie)

LRJ making the turn.......... Trying to upload the pics I took

just got little red X's where the pics should be, right click and select show pics but no dice.......having trouble uploading the ones I took too
