jai, i know. scrap value for a rangey is about 150, i wouldnt pay it. but it has mot, and he might be open to offers.

i dont care much for that one, its more the high cap that i would like to guage interest for!

Landys have lost their value especially V8's not many people can afford to keep them running 100% so maintainance gets thrown out the window turning them into wrecks pretty quickly. Couple that with people fitting cheapish or diy LPG kits to save money and they end up on ebay or for sale for a couple of hundred quid. Defenders have lost alot of value aswell compared to yesteryear but good ones are worth a fortune. Series motas seem to hold their own if unmodded and 88 are far more desirable than 109's especially pre '73. Landy prices have dropped been offered a disco last week from a guy around the corner at work he wants £150 for it but its a complete wreck. Landys and landy parts just aint that expensive at the moment if I shifted this chassis and engine I'd considered buying the disco and weighed it in but the money involved it really isnt even worth it.

hi cap td5 yea people will love it depends how clean it is and chassis condition clean ones well it could be alot or it could be really low all condition as you know. Being a hicap its likely to have been really well used. what does parkers say??? I know a 300tdi 110 hicap went for around 7.5k last week but it was immaculate, rear bed liner' truckman cab and the seats and interior were new xs style. Good BF tyres, receipts for waxoil since new the works! very nice. All condition seen a scabbyish CSW TD5 go for 2.5k which was cheap but was well well used.

only got 56k miles, from what i understand 2 owners. first owner used it to transport things around the hills of scotland when the weather was too bad for his van, second owner used it as a 4th car, occasional off road, and show vehicle, with the axles, tyres and transmission going onto my 110.

56k miles is nothing for a high cap, it has had a pretty easy life compared to most. its meant to be immaculate, perfect chassis and bulkhead, and straight panels / good paintwork.

will put normal axles on it if i can find the cash to buy the thingg outright, and turn it back into what it was. but a high performance high cap should be shiftable i reckon

Aha here you all are... there was me nattering to Brett on Facebook - So Sunday morning (best for me depending on Phil's plans cos he is coming round with a chainsaw sometime this weekend).

So where will we find about four or five hours worth of lanes?

Memory map is a great and wondrous device.... a spyderman in the glovebox is also good!
