Only used them for a fuel cap before and seemed reasonably priced and genuine.

There ain't many garages that I trust with my pride and joy, and believe it will be in safe hands.

A garage on codicate road claim to be landy specialists also, has anyone used them?

Hi all I'm back looking at tyres. Been putting it off but after nearly sliding in a ditch I'm looking properly. Think i've got it down to either a cooper stt or a mickey Thomson mud tyre. Is anyone running either of these.where would I get the best price. Any feedback most welcome and I know it's always a problem what to buy but least I've narrowed it down!!!!!

I'm not a fan of either tyre tbh Great over standard but the guys that use them on here and come out laning they were not very impressive but trying to buy a new not a remould that has a decent tread pattern I don't really know what I'd go for tbh

Also heard a rumer about the bloke being a cross dresser??

Your mota will be in very big i mean good hands!

Only joking. JJ aside cos it really doesn't matter what he she er gets up to they're ok I I guess. Never let them work on my mota but then no garage works on my mota. I guess theyre probably one of the better ones in the area. Always had stuff when I needed it but the price was never good but I'm tight and won't pay much for owt!

What did Erm Carpy run they clogged up like billio even him spinning up at Whaddon they didn't clear they just turned into slicks. Not impressed.

Its on a video Was it boogers vid?

Insa's, Simex, SAT's even Kingpin Diamonds Although Remoulds always clean themselves especially spinning up like that ready for another bite. what ever he was running seems to clog up on the video lots of sideways but bugger all grip!

I was very impressed with Classic Kevs Insa tyres as he does so much road milage they seem great. I think If I was looking to buy new tyres I'd be looking at what JCUK has I had them when they were Bronco (Crap remoulds) but great allrounder much better than AT's and quiet on the road. Now Insa have the remould procedure sorted proven by Classic Kevs road milage and motorway use and many others by all accounts I'd go for them.

Your putting me off them now.i've got hankook mts on at the moment and never been that good but now there well worn there like a snowball in mud and just collect more and more mud so it's like driving on ice. Not good at all. I'm a little bit limited to tyres as I'm running 33 12.5 15 and they seem good I deep ruts. That carpy video looked like my tyres. Funny in an open space but not when it's tight.

I'm no tyre expert but tyres with teeth work offroad. Blocks like simex that are square to the sidewall or in simex and some other cases overhang the sidewall. will help get out of ruts. Take our XL tyres they are blocks and great for forward traction. try getting out of ruts and it all goes wrong there is no side biters the tread stops before the sidewall which give bugger all grip. They are tall and the blocks with a half decent spacing is great but no side bite at all.

All the above that make the tyres great offroad will make the tyres noisey at road speed. So its a trade off. There must be plenty more tech on tyres beyond my little brain but tyres with teeth seem to work great!

Are silverstone new tyres?? They have a really good patter which I have run a similar type offroad which were great. Unfortunatly they are beyond road legal and on stupid silly wide rims.

I run quite similar tyres to these no idea what the size is but mine have th ecenter rib is also cut to make blocks

Tyres Direct UK :: 4x4 :: Silverstone :: 285/75R16 Silverstone Sport

Bloody good tyres offroad. up there with simex/insa probably not as good but I like them. On road well I only got 40mph and it all went wrong balance was a little out making it shake alot but that down to them being used for modified trials previous to me and being filled with water.
