Brett, keep taking photos at your events and look back on every one and see what focal length you used in the metadata (the info you posted earlier about the madonna shot). Don't forget to x1.6 or /1.6 where you need to. Ask if you get stuck :)

Now I am chucking the last things in the landy and I'm off... Ill check back on my phone when I stop for a break :D

We have already looked at the metadata, and the Madonna pic was taken at 50mm, so if that was a comfortable distance for Brett, (you wouldn't want to get to close to Madonna :D) then perfect..

Jack you should actually read the previous posts, they are quite interessting

Just looking at my old pics, **** I was good...or rather that £1200 lens was :D

I just thought that the lens would be better for what I do at films, also a lot less bulky to cart around, they can be picked up new for about £360, which isn't too bad.

So you just walk right up to Amber Heard and start taking pics ??? F**K YOU... I HATE YOU.... :D

Just read the reviews, general consensus is that it's a good lens for the money, and they only way to go better, is to spend alot more dosh.. which is what u said :D

Also nearly everyone who has bought one loves it... so get out you Credit Card and go shopping :D Or rather wait to see if Jack concurs... ;)

Bought it yesterday, together with a Speedlite 430EX II from Calumet, picking it up today, got both for under my budget, so I'm happy.
