recip tyres gone bust!
Get a pair of jate rings front and rear.
Edit: Fair enough, you'll get a bit muddy and can be an arse to get to but they bolt through the chassis where the supports for the tow ball go.
jate rings those d rings are for the front bumper on series motors. You could use them BUT you would have to sleeve the chassis and add spreader plates plus its pulling on the wrong side of the D ring. jate rings all the way without them on Beakers motor we woulda been stuck as we needed to pukk from one side to achieve a more sjitable angle.
you can get swivel eyes but again those are weak only rated at 3 tonnes and the edge or flange that takes all the strain is not very good IMO. Best thing you could do is lose the rear tow hitch fit or make a tank guard or fit a std tow hitch instead of a dixon bate (slightly better not so low and still proctcts the tank) good set of tyres Tick and practice and alot of it. Experience is the only thing you can't bull**** and there is only one way to get it. All too often we see wannabe's and tricked up motors "challenge trucks" usually built for looks over function you can spot a real one over bling and its surprising just how many are built for show or play days and have built in design issues/looks that a real motor built to be competitive over bling/looks would never have.
Was nice of you to offer a hand with head gasket earlier jack, it's one of them jobs that is a one man job and takes time. Was nice for the offer thou.
anyone know where i can find a decent Range Rover L322?
Ah no worries, hope you got it fixed. Thanks a lot for the wheels. I'll have a good look tomorrow and see if I can get those muds fitted finally...
Does anyone know anywhere (preferably closer to me) where they will balance wheels this size. All the places I have been to will fit but don't have a big enough machine for balancing...
