I found internet! From the memory map web site:-

Microsoft Windows Vista or XP. 512Mb RAM, 1GB hard-disk space. Minimum PC screen resolution 800 x 600. 3D-World™ requires Microsoft Direct-X graphics support.

My acer n35 has seen better days it has Tom Tom on it at the mo but I had to erm mod the plug at the bottom because it was destroyed and is now soldered in place. Just managed to get it to charge and power up after being left for over a year. Will look into getting MM asap then.
