im locking myself in there, public has had enough danger with me bein let loose:D

naa it will be for the more dangerous of the scorpions, and then rattlers, pit vipers and a few cobras in all likelihood

I also decided to be a little cheeky and email the Interco tire coorperation direct to see what prices they can do on their 44" boggers. The prices by the EU distributers are a bit mental, so i thought i may as welldrop them an email and see if they will ship direct. laid out my plans to them and they are very interested.

fingers crossed on that front, but may soon be housing 6 or 8 44" super swamper boggers, and some of their normal muds

Your putting 44 inch tyres on your 90, that's going to play with some ratio's lol

na ent got a 90, the one in the pic is a 110!

its going on an 88:D but its pretty much a ground up rebuild jobby so its not just an 88 with ****off tyres on it

Was think a 90 or even a 110 with them 44 wouldnt be going very far lol they are big heavy old tyres. Still 88 sounds nice, u making like a
Challenge vehicle almost then.

a big ****off toy to **** around with on pay and plays, and see what sort of competitions i can start thinknig off. cant imagine those tyres would make it any good at challenge type competitions, its more one for ladoga type stuff, but would need alot of work to get it to that spec

gonna need alot of work and time, but im up for it, and will have some help on the way, should me many laughs when its done

cool, got a few people offering that now. its a big job, and will work as and when them oney comes in, the big cost is the tyres. if i go from the EU distributers it will work out just over 2k for 4.

roll cage will be fabricated ourselves, panels and that will be salvaged from a series II i am breaking, engine, gearbox and chassis are sorted, so need to get hold of a proper decent set of axles, then probably get some new diffs, HD half shafts, and then we should have a rolling chassis. will see what happens after that

its a new one for me so who knows what might happen haha

that size tyre you can forget rover axles! Even ashcroft stuff its on its limit. Best do portals for strength and cost. Ashcroft front end is circa 1000 pounds without locking diff. Rear end about 500 no diff. 44 inch really is truck terrtory. Jai

yea i was looking at volvo ones, but mog portals are cheaper, and stronger. will just bem ore of a headache adapting them

Hi gents,

Just a quickie.

I went to National Tyres in Dunstable to borrow their vice at the weekend, and they asked if I knew of a mechanic looking for work. I thought I'd let you guys know, just in case there was someone. It's a full time job, and they seem nice guys.

If ur interested have a wander down. They are on the corner of Houghton Road and the A5.
