Kai's a bloody good driver, he'd put alot of people to shame!

Not actually met the rangie boys, but from what i have heard they are a bit nuts.

Sounds like i missed a bloody good un, Not that i'd have got anywhere!

Kai says "Thanks".

and that would be anew and interesting use of the words "a bit" that i hadn't previously been aware of! They are completely insane... in a nice nuts sort of way!

I'll be there in the morning in the van, its my dads birthday and his retirement so cant miss the family meal at lunch time back in Luton. Are you going ryder should be a good one!

hi jai,
cheers for today mate.
also, i have found the front parts of those treesliders if you want me to bring them to the pub wed??

sounds like you all had a good day at whaddon

anyone got a snorkel for a 300tdi laying about? or any half decent spotlights? or a pair of bucket seats, well actually 4 bucket seats ideally but 2 would do for the minute.

remember i was telling you about my series chassis, silly big tyres and portal axles

i think that would do the job nicely! :p

wouldnt mind getting started on that at some point actually, need to get it trailered to the workshop in surrey, and then start moving forward with it there! with any luck i will soon get hold of some portal axles which should arrive in the country soon (i was almost thinking of putting them on my 110 at one point) then after we got the rolling chassis sorted on the proper axles it will need the V8 and ancillaries. once it gets started plan is to move forward slow and steady!

Evening all,

Looks like lots and lots of fun occuring here!!!!!

As usual, I've been manic, Had a few life ups n downs but back on track again now hopefully!

I'm looking to organise another off road day some point in the new year, again, will be at aldershott MOd training facility and wondered how many of you may be interested? as far as i'm aware the majority of you who came to the last one enjoyed it (feel free to agree or abuse me)

I've also spoilt myself to a Td5 Discovery to try and cheer myself up a bit!

I hope your all well, and no ones motor is causing to much hastle,
I'm still around if anyone needs any help or if anyone just wants a work bench for a few hours!

Peace out
Dan

love the pics, looks like you all had a really good wet and muddy day.

yea today was mental like i have never seen whaddon before, crazy.

goodgood :), just in the greenlane section looks like a good day out, :)

this thread has turned into a bit of a general chat for anyone associated with the herts laners though tbh, its a general thread for chat, organising meets etc - be they pub meets, greenlaning or off road.

and yea those ones are off road:p

Carpy if you wanted a V8 88 inch coil chasiss I know where one is in the way so to speak. There is no way you would be allowed to keep its original ID due to too many points lost with axles engine transmission etc with portals and a V8 and suitable gearboxs. I do know where one is. It may save you alot of bollock ache when doing the portals as its already a coil sprund chassis and the V8 is sitting sweet on its mounts!

Add on bit,
with all ignition system, ecu, AFM, Rad, coil, etc, Wink Wink

ok i will tell you what

what V8 is it?

mark has just offered to buy my whole set up as it is, with diesel and all the rest of it all on the chassis. if i flog him that i can use the proceeds to get hold of that chassis, you are right it does sound like a plan. in what nick is the chassis?

i wouldnt want to keep the ID, its a lost cause totally so i would either chuck it on a Q plate as as kit car, or not have it roadgoing and trailer it about
