But that's exactly what the Landy was designed to do. it was marketed and sold as a agricultural vehicle for use on hill farms and small holdings.

We did it once at Elvaston Steam Rally with our old S3 .. had a hand throttle so we could keep the revs at a (nominally) steady rate .. worked fine .. ;)

Also used PTO to drive a wood saw of about 18" diameter .. used it to cut maybe 12" logs, awesome kit.

Just me & Max for Santa Pod tomorrow then???

It's looking highly unlikely I will be able to make it. Claire's dad is visiting so I supppose I should be around. When I said "yeah, but he's your dad" the response was not very ladylike!

If I can I shall call

Hey Lane Drover, Cheers for the donation of the Sticker. Tomorrow I'll be starting on the boat and giving the 90 an oil change just generally getting the landy clean and tidy for L2B. Wales is off till later in the week cos he has a family christening.

Hi Kris,
Same thing really, I'll be cleaning the motor out and sorting some niggling problems like window channel replacement and mabe have a go at getting the dash back together well I can dream lol

Just because I didn't check out the herts thread over the last few days, i've missed out.... I could have got out today...

Anyone up for a trundle up to Harlington this evening?

The words "trundle" and "Harlington" are rarely seen in the same sentence!

Lol, Im trying to install tom tom on my phone and its being a biatch! it normally works ok but today its having a hissy fit! How did Spyderman and Max get on anyon know?

A grand day out today, because there was only me & Max we moved really quickly, did all that was open at Santa Pod, Grafham and did Steppingley on the way back, was home by 3.00.

Steppingley has had some maintenance done, the 2 mudholes as you enter from the south have been filled. The water run at the north end is no more, it's been filled with road stone, flat as a pancake.

Watch out for the flytippers and burnt out cars.
