They do have tow eyes, you just gotta know where to look;)
there will be a screww in eye that you have to use. It will be stored in the boot in the spare wheel. Look for a round cap on the bumper which pops out, or or just unscrew the front grill. Oh and a lot of them use LH thread...i did a lot of towing the other day!

oh yes it is good fun

nearly had to tow someone but they made it them selves nothing important only a gritter lol. other than that just a few corsa'a a bmw and a council transit

the chrystler had no cap nor screw in tow eye, 1 of the bmw did but it didnt fit (tryd left and right) somehow he had thw wrong 1, got all of them out stil just looked underneith and attached tow rope to what ever looked strong enuf after expaining im not responsible for any damages, didnt look to much at golf as 1st 1 i pulled up backwards and second 1 nearly got 2 the top on its own just needed a male driver to finish it off lol

Alright mate, how's things. Your new motor looks good mate what lift kit you got on it, how big are them wheels a hehe just got myn booked in to the garage for end of march hehe lots more money being spent and big changes hehe. :D

Monday night was quite good fun, no traffic out this way - too many hills, I did find a stuck Megane and towed it up a steep narrow lane. Coz I couln't turn around I dragged em in reverse which was quite entertaining.

Today we had quite a bit more snow here bu tI'm stuck in the tedium that is work - well somebody has to! Apart from that pretty dandy really. Don't know how much snow we'll see tonight and tomorrow but I'm sure it's gonna be fun.

Anyway, nice to hear from you, doubtless we'll catch up soon. Cheers.
 
Well I bailed in the Van today and took the Landy to work. Plebs on the road everywhere! I can drive anywhere but not over the cars that seem to love to abandon in front of me. Luckily I canged my tyres yesterday so Broncos all round was defo needed when I was driving through Flamstead and the back of Hemel. I was Mr popular today NOT! I had the task of picking up my work mates and getting them un stuck so they can drive to work. Lol! Jai
 
Just got back myself, I'm up for a little something this evening, pretty sure I won't be working tomorrow if the forecast is right. JHoward might be up for it too!!
 
just done the chesham lane, very interesting 1st time up the lane and done it in the dark and snow, got through and back again but slid a but on the way out and got a new dent:mad:
 
I'm hoping we get a little more snow so I can avoid work as this week my overtime is ****ed up, so tomorrow let's get a few local lanes in, I got the maps all we need to do is get together.
 
Ok, so I've got a whisky on the go, I'm pretty happy to plan a day in the snow tomorrow a little laning and some rescuing on the way round. Any thoughts????
 
Come on J How, get involved as long as I start my van struggle around for half hour I get the day off. I say those that are up for it we meet, map it out, go, come back. Done.
