DB rang last week, I think the one he visited was identical to the one in Hampshire... in fact I thought they were one and the same from his descriptioin.

Its the 1 in Kent we visited and it was better than the shambles at matchams. But at 65 quid a ticket we thought it was ****e:screaming_bug_eye_f

The kids loved it tho and that was what it was all about.

The real snow turned out to be bubbles from a machine in 1 small area when you go in and based on the amount of people that were there with us I rekon the owner will make 3 million quid over the 2 months if they manage to sell all the tickets.
The website paints an amazing picture and you think you are in for a really special day but when you get there and discover that you've parted with 260 quid of your hard earned for a family of four to be going in a group of 70 or so people and the next group are half an hour behind you soon get the hump.
We were so lucky to have a loud mouthed old bag with her whinging brats in our group to really top the day off.

Gosh... you make it sound almost idyllic. Wish we'd done the same!

Seriously though... at least the kids enjoyed themselves.

Won't be there this evening gents, Christmas Dinner is calling me... One of my customers offered several weeks ago, but hope to see you on the lanes near christmas..

Hi everyone, wanted to get to the pub meet tonight but something came up at the last minute and messed up my plans. If anyone is stuck for something to do this Sunday and would be willing to travel a bit, we are planning to go to Woodlands farm pay and play near Brands Hatch. We have a few people coming from London and some of the Surrey lot that were on the last laning day down this way. If anyone wants to come along and meet up on route let me know and i will PM you the details, CHEERS.

Sorry folks, the two babies had their shots yesterday and they've reacted badly. Nothing serious but cntinuous squealing is too much for me to leave rose to deal with on her own. Have a good evening and I'll catch you all at January's meet.

Got any Calpol? For the babies, not you!

calpol is working wonders... Jas just went to sleep. I'm gonna start on the vodka and just keep my fingers (and eyes) crossed!

Not much to tell really. Only me, Zoolandy and Jai_landrover were there. Mind you, the pub was very quiet in general, I suppose everyone is saving for Chrimbo and all that.

BTW Ryder, you still planning on being in North Wales Christmas/New Year? I will be up there 30/31 Dec, will be going laning.

Best early season conditions I've ever had. Fresh powder, cold, empty slopes.
