I've stripped everything that needs stripping today, just Bellhousing & engine mounts to undo and it's coming out. DB & I are doing it on Tuesday. Hopefully a quick and painless fix and back in again. Only took about 3 hours to strip it down and I wasn't rushing.
 
Oh blimey, just watched the vide that Liambirger posted. How clever is that! Now about my policies.....
 
Hi kev,

not too bad to be honest. Spending most of the time working so not been able to get the things done on the landy that I would have liked to. DB has some shocks and turrets that we are going to fit this week so that will get that little job out of the way, and I am still fighting with the starter to get a decent connection on the power feed... (though DB says he will help me with that as well.)

How about you... all running and ship shape?

Had a bit of a hangover today so I was not running and ship shape. Did a few bits of housekeeping on the Rangie - cleaned the radiators out, cleaned the horns out, put air in the back tyre which has a self tapping screw through it:mad: washed the mud out of the side lights then decided I needed to lie down for a while:eek: Apart from that the sun was shining and it was a nice day:) Will have to get of me behind and get all sorts done tomorrow to make up for lost time.
 
Hi everyone, the Disco 's still up and running fine, just having to take care not to brake it while the SJ is out of action, hope to get it back together this week and in for an MOT next weekend.

A hang over Kev? You? Naaah you're far too organised for that sort of thing!

Re-wrote much of our web site today, adapted it to take orders for the memory sticks online. Hoping that we will boost income a little. Need more money to spend on the Landy... have a few wants that rose just raises her eyebrows at!

The shogun is on its last legs. I think that having a knackered rad. and not having the money to replace it may have damaged the engine, (though there is still no water in the engine I did cook the oil yesterday!). Rose is beginning to think that a second Disco for road work is what she wants (td someting or other this time though). We have to have two cars and she feels much safer in something with structural safety and intimidating presence!
 
was out til gone midnight out on some lanes out nr hemel and beyond with a few guys i met up with, had a great first time out on the lanes and at night too which was interesting! the car performed perfectly although definitely needs decent tyres and some front recovery points, looking forward to doing more lanes soon, come on lets get something sorted
 
How about a bit of a xmas play day for the lads? Could make it a bit of fun. Got an idea of setting out a point to point with teams and clues etc. Kinda like a treasure hunt but on a grand scale. What dya rekon?

That could well be a plan, sounds like fun. I did a treasure hunt type thing in North Wales a while ago - didn't do too well with clues and things but had a cracking day out laning.

Morning all. Got up at 4.30 to watch the race, back to bed at 7.30, shouldn't have bothered. I'm around over Christmas, that would be good.

I remember doing that as a kid and for some reason (i remember seeing a bright blue kingfisher bird for the first time at a ford crossing) that was with the Awdc involvement for the wives gf and children was fun we ended up at a friendley pub. Sounds like fun wd had to walk to a few clues drive to most and read an os map grid ref etc Jai

Hey all ,, Christmas play day sounds great .... Map reading too lol would be great ..

I just spent all of Saterday Bringing down an old rotton barn at me local pub that Kev and me had a drink at .. Was fun towing a four wheeled trailer around a muddy field then building a bombfire for guy fawkes ...

Hope you enjoyed the vid , Ryder for President ,,, Love to the two old ladys at the end ....

Not sure what me plans are for today , maybe more trailer dragging lol . made great crop circles the farmer was most impressed lol see as the weeds were taller than the disco and me point or refrence was the Barn roof lol ..

would be up for the xmas thing excuse to get out doing the family thing, i remember going out on boxing day round whitwelll and that area got to the water tower looked at the ruts thinking gunna get stuck tried it and yep stuck 3hrs later a kind farmer come pull us out the ruts learnt a good lesson never do big ruts with crap road tyres
