Eh up Jai. The tirfor has paid foritself towing the 80 back into the garage around 2 parked cars!

The starter is rather poorly but is with Reese and Allen in Aylesbury. Though I could happily do with any old starter motor your dad may have lying around.

Tell Andy that swambo is well up for me buying a scissor lift for the back garden. Even mentioned it to the builder so we an ensure the foundations of the hardstand are up for a 3 tonne lift

:drum:

Reese and Allen are very good auto sparks used them for a wiring fault a couple of main dealers couldn't sort they sussed it out straight away on work motors

HI All

Does any body know where i can find a chart to check axle weights ?
As i have now weighed mine so trying to source the right springs ,
and then go a touch softer.

as my front axle is 1250kg
and my rear is 750kg
just got to find a nice spring for each end now.

cheers

Hi All!

After a bit of work that needs doing my my landy I'll hopefully be out and about looking for someone (or a group?) to show me around the local lanes at some point!

For now, If you see her! Give us a wave!

Hi Dan!

Welcome! There are a few lanes around Hitchin Luton way wh oh are great ones to go on for the first time out.

Keep an eye on here and pop along to the Pub meet if you can. Im sure we can get an outing together I'd usually volunteer to lead and show you about however I may be out of it for a few months.

Awesome sounds really good!

A friend also told me about to similar lanes. Instinct tells me not to go venturing on my own with no winch, or spares! So ill hang it out.

I still have alot to do before im happy with it yet! Plenty of time!

Cheers

I'm a month ish away from having a road legal landy. Will plan a trip with Leebastard when he is next in the country, easy lanes as mine will be my daily. Any planning will be on hear

Hello fellow Herts people - I've just dropped a post in the for sale section. If anyone local is interested in some defender suspension parts then check it out. They're free to a good home. If nobody is interested then they'll be likely going in the bin on my next garage clear out.

Free to a good home
