I'll bring a map and a notebook with me on Wednesday to note any other things I may need.

A couple of scratches won't be an issue, it's already a 14 year old car. :)

Just got the map out, and checked, i have the Wilkins lane one marked as legal, i checked with the ROW around this time last year, so unless its changed it is kosher. I have also driven it, and if its tho one im thinking of it was good fun. had to rescue my mate in his disco if i remember rightly.

i agree on the daytime thing, when i did these ones, it was on a night trip. so it would be good to see how they look in the day :)

there is also one over towards Borehamwood that the ROW officer told me is legal but advised me to avoid as it has been known to be tricky. Challenge?

I think I drove past that one in Borehamwood. I was working close by and it was really really wet. The roadswere flooding from drainage ditches. I turned around in an entrance and it was a Byway and looked tricky. It was next to a tarty pub on a windy road! That's Why I don't do directions!

Haha I think you definitely win the toys competition! Well, if you can escape this coming Wednesday I can come pick you up/drop you off home if you fancy the pub meet.

Cheers for the offer Lee but stu is right if I need a lift I will jump in with him and joules, thank you anyway.

You have some good toys there. I know its cheeky but is there any chance I can borrow said plasma cutter in the not to distant future. The very nice V8 disco I bought the wife to replace the Terrano needs a couple of sills welding on. But I knew that when I bought it.

You can borrow it anytime stu
