Morning defenderdog

I was thinking of going to Alex engineering in long Marston. However I had forgotten about you. Stutab recommends you and if I recall you are of Mayland. Which would be easier.

PM me your number and I will call you today.

I have a replacement outrigger and would like to swap the fuel tank at the same time. Due to the installation of the existing tank either the outrigger or seat box need removing first to get it out.

What days are you open?

To be honest I haven't got the time to do the welding because of a defender which needs both front out riggers doing and a disco with holes everywhere and the work is backing up, but I do have a recovery truck if that helps could always help out during the evening, weekdays are hard due to the amount of work I have got?

Cheers DD. Its just like you they do Monday to Friday 8-6 so its handy for where I work but a pig from Hemel.

Just trying to work the logistics out to book it in with someone. If I had a trailer I could pop it in on my way to work, wish djdommy had never sold his trailer now  but that was a few years ago.

Bit of a pain going to GT towing in the morning as it is the wrong way, though their transporters are good.

Might be the way to go though.

Dom did say he mey be around some days so I may be able to get a driver.

Watch this space.

I'm away, so I'm not going to make the pub meet on Wed. Have a good one and I'll catch up with you in September.

Worked fine at Billing. Looks very well made using quality bits.

Not for you though unless they do a chrome plated version:p

Hehe no bling on the offroader!! Surprised just how much droop the rear axle has unladen need think gone to far and you'll be almost there. Never seen a leaf spring twist that far before. Will need to get a special propshaft and some longish shocks that close right up to make use of all that articulation some measuring required tonight me thinks I think rancho dia plus 4 inch but was only 40mm longer closed length if I remember.

All pointless as all hinges on a short mega wide angle propshaft

They offered me double cardon if I needed, but their 32 degree wide angle was enough for mine, they'll make you whatever you need. Mega short is going to limit the length of the slider of course especially if you need double cardon.

I think what I've got is more than 32 degrees might need another female end and remake the propshaft using bits at the moment it's far too long bits to look out for while at Peterborough I guess

You timed that well. Going to try combining tomorrow so there will be lots of tractors racing up and down the lane for about a week.

Jai, will get the washer off tomorrow and drop it off at Joules house.

If stu gets the washer off I may get there.

Jai. Had a go at getting the washers off and broke them. Not going to make it to the pub as hopefully I will be combining. Not going today but still left work at 8:40pm getting bits sorted.

See you all in the winter. Stu

I am doing the BBQ at the pub again so I can't make it either :-(

Looks like a nice night and that's closer to me
I mite go there instead
Il tell the wife I'm going to take her out for a slap up meal
So Keep an ear out for the unmistakeable sound of a V8

Not going to make it. I'm a bit busy
