Djdommyp is going to have a bash at the rtv with me in the 80. Just been fitting axle straps today. See you there jai. Stu should be popping along at some point too

Got washed out in the Marquee at the wedding. Should be good for you boys tomorrow. I am leaving Cirencester about 10 so will be up at lunch time. Is there a bbq or burger van there for snap or is tesco calling on the way?

Arse biscuits!!!
Thought the disco felt a bit bouncy on way back from Billing- found broken rear shock !
Dagnabbit!!!

****er!! Usually break because the washers have been fitted incorrectly. Loads of people fit them wrong and they snap at the weld on the eye mount

Well saw killer joules and stu up at round hill sorry I was running about tidying up at the end. Good fun but boy are discos big heavy old tanks!! Drove the old mans disco and managed to clip a tree only damage was a headlight washer jet destroyed another soon to be ordered. Must say cracking day out in the mud fun had by all!!

Great day playing in the woods Jai

Points wise we didn't do well, but

A) It was DjDommyps first ever trial and he had never driven the 80" before
B) Again the wifes first RTV too, though she did drive the TYRO at last years nationals in the 80"

Apologies for the pics, as I had to use my phone due to batteries running out in the real camera.

This is Djdom getting his first recovery.

Here's his mum stuck in one of the holes

A rather awkward spot to get recovered from

Had to rope up two motors as the starter refused to work in the hole, must of been soaked when I wont through one of the deep water sections prior to this gate.

Onfortunatly the first recovery motor was rather jealous and insisted on dragging the 80" and 88" foo har, through a tree and onto a stump.

Note teh rearranged outrigger , door handle and roof.

Was good watching the RTV at Round Hill. Need to get mine running and on the road, they might have a modified class by then ;) Do feel sorry for the old series landys being bashed into tree's

Jai, was your boost turned off?

Yup!

Not that it made any difference I drove like a granny only hit 2000rpm once too scared to damage the old mans motor only damage was a headlight washer jet.

And a working diff lock would be handy aswell!!
