Looks like Gibbo Phil's having problm with his frontera... The immobiliser has engaged and refuses to be disengaged. He's working flat out to get it sorted for tomorrow and we have our fingers crossed for him. Luckily he's got the old type that simply disables the fuel pump so with a little jiggery pokery he could be in luck!

ask him if he's dropped the key or if it has pulled apart. If he has tell him to try the spare. Vauxhall keys are renowned for the chips rattling loose or falling completely out.

I second that

tis true, that happened to my astra, its a tiny little black chip that falls out really easily, use the spare it should be ok :)

ratty will attempt to get the chairs again tomorrow!

so far no luck, intention was to pick em up today on way back from DB's but n answer on the home or mobile number on the pm you sent me....

no owrries ratty, i spoke to glenn who had completely forgotten about em, DB has also said if i have no luck tomorrow then he will drop by the address if he gets a chance.
is it front 2 or front 3 seats?

Worst case scenario is that I take a trip up to your neck of the woods to pick em up at a later date.

How many are coming down tomorrow? I am hoping to be at the campsite myself by 6pm
 
i'm not coming down till saturday morning.

leonberger, i have spoken to classic kev and he thinks we should leave south mimms by about 6.15hrs........ there are 50mph average speed cameras on the m3 and we wont get an average of 60mph....... call me when you have a think, i'll be there for 6 anyway as discussed earlier
