Hi there!

A new dashboard warning light came on today on my 2003 TD5 Defender, it's yellow, bottom right and it looks like an axle with fluit dripping from the diff. Can anyone tell me what it means???????

Cheers

It is the 'water in fuel' lamp. The sensor is just in front of the rear wheel in the botton of the fuel filter. I suspect that if you are using filling station fuel it is probably salty water off our winter roads shorting out the connector. Try pulling the connectors apart and WD40ing them - look for damaged wires at the same time.

Thanks very much, from the symbol I was worried it was a 'water in the diff' or oil leak in the diff' warning lamp!! very confusing!!!
