Oh but Obvs there is a bit of an issue..

Still no L405 sub section and i foresee thousands of l405 owners in the future..

Every New model of RR is ten times more complicated than the last..

However with that in mind...

Have a look at the battery, in todays day and age a good battery is more crucial than the fookin engine! ;) :D

Car will go up **** creek if it is just slightly below par.

Oh! I came on here for advice as I thought the point of a forum was helping each other yes it’s not an urgent issue I only asked for advice as the issue is annoying me that I can’t work it out sorry I bothered ......
People are only ripping you because you made such a trivial thing your first post, no introduction etc, making such a thing sound urgent with the title etc.

Drop an introduction Shimsterion said, accept that there’s a bit of banter and ripping here. I was when I joined.
It’s not an official Land Rover funded or associated forum, it’s all enthusiasts for enthusiasts so there’s no requirement for people to drop it all and assist as such. Like I said, someone rangie/modern cars savvy will be over soon. Especially as this thread is building attention.

@Doodlebug82 Please forgive the banter, its not personal and you are right to call us "p155-takers" out on it.
Your post will get some serious replies I am sure and I wish you well in getting a fix for your issue.
A tip-top battery is a more and more necessary requirement for these cars it would seem, and the more technology they cram in, the worse it gets.
Sorry if you have felt less than fairly treated at this time.

Least that's unlikely to break!
Might break me first though :D
I saw your post. Thanks. I haven’t replied as I’ll forget to take action/reply on it. I’m saving it for tomorrow when I’m not about to fall asleep. So thanks for the information and assistance in general!

'Orrible little thing.....

and his show is crap anorl.
I’ll admit sometimes I watch it to make me feel better about myself and how I’m doing in life. I’m yet to get on JK to fight over DNA of some poor little scrote so it isn’t too bad I guess.

Of all the great things about the L405, the reliability and usability of the Television / DVD player are not on that list ;)

There have been more infotainment software rewrites and upgrades that you can imagine. Report this problem to your dealer and they should be able to get LR to authorise a warranty, 4 hour duration, software update to Version 18D (which may have even been superceeded!). Then try using the television again.

Don’t let the **** taking here put you off, all of those oil leaks, draughty cabins and water ingress were always going to take their toll on them sooner or later ;):D

PS: The swear filter’s new!

He's quite right. We are all just jealous because of our lack of infotainment or that any such thing would never be heard above the howling wind or rattling tratter sounds.
Get your gear updated at yr main-stealer (I'm sure its cheap, if not under warranty) and see if it fixes things.

A 405 section will be coming Soon* I am sure

What more entertainment do you need! Keeping the bugger in a straight line is enough:D

@Doodlebug82 may I suggest you stop fretting about something so trivial. You have a 2 year old vehicle, which is still under warranty. Do as the dealer said and book it in. Any faffing about by you can easily void that warranty. So leave it alone, take it back to your dealer and let them sort it.
That is, if it hasn't fixed itself after the suggestions given by @td4van
I would also like to suggest that, should you, in the future, be relying of the help of strangers, none of whom are duty bound to help you, you exercise a slightly better attitude. You will find pouring honey around makes life sweeter, than pouring vinegar around.
