hey everybody . land rover newbie here just got a 2000 discovery 2 SE7 . i just had a lil question . are the sunroof switches supposed to light up when u turn on the lights ? u know like the window switches and everything else ? i know its a dumb question but i was just wondering cuz its kinda weird when ur trying to open the sunroof at night . u cant see the switches u kinda gotta look for them with ur fingers lol . i figured maybe they light up like the rest of the switches in the vehicle . thanks much !

to be honest mate, this is a disco 2 so i aint any help at all on that. i'm deffinately a disco one man. but in saying that the sunroof switch on my disco1 doesn't light up, but what was worrying me is why would you want to open yer sunroof in the dark

I'm a disco 2 man, but haven't got any cash, so have to wind mine manually

Try fitting an engine - landrovers move a lot easier this way.

LOL it gets hot sometimes at night too , so i open the sunroofs instead of turning on the AC . saving gas . this thing is a gas guzzler ! lol i should have thought of that b4 purchasing . but other than that i absolutely love it !

aye stop worrying about lit switches. rip out the v8 and install the tdi.
you know it makes sense.

yeah i guess i should ! there's already like 70000 miles on my current engine . a brand new one sounds appealing . . .

So does the Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band but I wouldn't advise you to stick them in yer Disco
