Ok so, I've sourced another block and the head has gone to the engineering guys to be cleaned up and pressure tested. fingers crossed!
I've got to swap all the ancillaries from the old engine on to the new one (diesel pump, oil pump etc...) then i'll need to hire an angine crane for the day to lift the old out and in with the new(er) block.
One thing that i'm not to sure about is the bellhousing bolts. Can I get everything off on the backend of the engine from under the bonnet? I'm doing the job on my drive you see.
Can anyone advise?
