could be a front cv joint a front ore rear drive flange a half shave or yes a diff problem take it out off difflock start the engine put it in gear then look under the car and see what propshaft is spinning then thak the black caps off the end of the hubs and see if one of them is spinning my bet is a cv or a drive flange
while i was stuck i was in diff and my back wheels wernt moving at all after i got winched out when u disengaged diff it drove for a few yards then stopped like it went into neutral with a clunk but it will drive in diff lock, think the prob is back halfshaft or diff ill have a look tomorow thanks paul

why would it be a front cv joint if hes got no drive to the rear diff?
your easiest way to tell if its your rear diff or half shaft is to simply remove each of your half shafts if one comes out with the end snapped orf then theres your prob..

if he has got no drive to the rear diff then its the transfer box but no where does it say that the post says no drive from the back wheels so if a front cv had gone then all the drive will go to the front because of the center diff the drive will go to the path of least resistance only trying to put ideas across quite possable a rear end problem but dont rule out the front
and sorry i ment half shaft
