I have a 2004 Land Rover Discovery 2, it has somehow put its alarm in super lock mode. I have tried everything to disarm the alarm but nothing seems to be working. The key fob buttons do not unlock any of the doors at all. But, I can unlock the door by using the key on the driver side only. When I get in the car the key will not start the engine and nothing inside the car works and none of the other locked doors will unlock even when using the button inside the car. There is a red flashy light on the dash that is blinking, when I put the key in the door and turn it to the lock position for 5 seconds or so the fast blinking red light changes to a slow blinking red light. When I go to unlock the door it changes back to that flashing quick red light. I have read a bunch of forums and did everything that I could do from what I've read and still none of those work. I even unhooked the battery for about 10 minutes to see if that would reset and that didn't work either. Does anyone know what I need to do or shall I shoot this damn thing. When I called the Land Rover dealership they told me I need it to tow it to them for them to try and figure it out. The tow alone is like $450 plus $175 per hour for them to try to figure out how to get this off super lock that's ridiculous. Any idea to get this off a super lock would be greatly appreciated please and thank you.

As above for the EKA then check the receiver in the roof lining in front of the rear sunroof is receieving the fob signal. If you do have to replace it it's plug and play. No programming needed.

Hi. I had the same problem trying to immobilise the alarm after leaving the Disco for 3 days with the immobiliser set.
A flat battery meant my key fob wouldn,t work. Did all the things the forum suggested, with no luck. So I opened the door with the key, opened the bonnet, removed the horn relay and fuses, disconnected the horn alarm, reconnected a charged battery, pressed the remote, it unlocked the car. I turned the key to pos2, waited 5 seconds and turned it back; the red light stopped flashing and and a solid red light showed. All ok so far

So what is it an alarm/immobiliser issue or super locking issue, if the latter then you in trouble as non of the doors can be opened from outside or inside without using a functioning remote.
