Please S.O.P (save our Pajero's)...
Myself and two friends have got ourselves in a bit of bother this weekend while 4x4'in in Trefil Quarry, Tredegar, Wales.
one car is driverside down into peat\bog stuff... one is bellied on peat bog and the other behind it also driverside down (the one that git the middle one stuck trying to recover it!!!
we have tried boards, jacks, straps, spades etc... the local farmers want a few thousand to risk taking their tractors anywhere near... no recovery places will touch it as they only have one LR.
what we need is many vehicles and people to help on Saturday or Sunday coming.... we need a few vehicles with decnt tyres, good straps and esentially 1 or 2 winches at least!!! idea being to leave a few on the hard ground and strap, truck, strap, truck all the way to the stuck vehicles and using the fist vehicles as anchors winch the stuck vehicles out of their wheel wells and they'd get the rest of the way on their own... then one by one move the truck train forward and take off a truck one by one....
whos up for the challenge? Bacon and beer will be provided. we just really need help.. they have sat there overnight for two night so far already!! we have been their through the night rocking, digging etc.. now it just needs pulling with many vehicles...
