Hi folks, help needed, I've fitted my snorkel today to my disco 1 300tdi abs model...yes I bought the correct snorkel....however when everything has been installed and sealed correctly...the Airbox is now roughly 100mm further across than it was and doesn't line up with the airflow meter...am I missing something....

Thats a shame, nothing is straight forward sometimes, anyway a bit of engineering and with round flexible duct or even hard plastic duct, and a vertical 90deg elbow, but that maybe a bit fiddly.

If so with a bit more work, I’d remove the existing air box outlet and blank the hole, further along the side cut out a similar size hole to suit and fit and seal an outlet to the air box , which should allow more space to form a flexible duct around, across and then to terminate at the airflow meter inlet, with maybe a 90deg elbow fitted.

Thanks for ur reply...i have thought about ducting..however i found a thread that shows me how to move the afm slightly so im giving that a go...I'll keep u posted thanks

When you've got the airbox into position, don't forget to block up the other holes in it otherwise the snorkel will not keep all the water out! Silicon sealant for the l;ickle ones!
